Get Caught Reading Party A Success!

people on stage with large get caught reading sign

Thanks to all who came out to the Get Caught Reading Party on Saturday, August 24!  We had nearly 100 teens celebrating their reading over the summer with button-making, gaming, pizza & cake.  Teens across London read a total of 1,053,731 pages!

Tim Kelly from the Western Fair's Board of Directors and our own Chair of the London Public Library Board, Josh Morgan, were both on hand to award the top readers in the city of London.  Congratulations to Alex Laframbroise (Crouch), Dana Booth (Crouch), Sarah Chun (Landon), Emma Ashton (Stoney Creek) -- Top Readers for 2013!  Thanks to the amazing musical talents of The Assumers who opened the Awards Ceremony.  We are grateful to the Western Fair District for their wonderful support and generous prizes.  Thanks for a great summer of reading! You can see all our new Teen titles here.   Best of luck to all in their return to school routines.  Don't forget we have excellent Homework Help for Teens and Homework Help for Grade 7 & 8s on our website!  See you at the Western Fair -- look for the London Public Library!
