We’re excited to announce that we’re making much-needed upgrades to Sherwood Branch Library!
This project is tentatively scheduled to start this fall and is expected to take about 8 months to complete.
Throughout the project, you will continue to be able to pick up your holds and return your items. A small Pop Up Library will be available on site for most of the project, with short closures at the beginning and end of the project.

About Sherwood Library
Sherwood Branch Library, London Public Library’s 13th Branch Library, opened in the Sherwood Forest Mall in May, 1985. Sherwood serves a population of approximately 36,390 in London’s North West (Ward 7), a large area with diverse communities. In 2023, there were more than 140,000 visits to Sherwood, with more than 164,000 items borrowed. With many schools located within walking distance, Sherwood is a community hub for children, families and youth, who often visit the Library on a daily basis. Popular programs at Sherwood Branch include afterschool clubs and the Library Settlement Partnership program in partnership with the Northwest London Resource Centre, along with many programs for seniors, young families and youth.
