Getting Started
To get started, you will need to have the following:
- Your library card number and PIN.
You can use this product on your computer or you can download the app to use on a mobile device.
Download the App
Download the Access My Library app on iOS 13.0 or later or Android 6.0 or up.
You will need to allow the app to use your location in order to Find Your Library.
Click on Resources and you will see Biography listed there along with other databases, eBooks and resources from Gale.
Using the Database
Once you have logged on, you can search for a person, browse a list of people, or look up a specific area of study such as scientists. The search results page categorizes information by featured content, biographies, website, magazines, news and other multimedia.
From each article, you can download, print or email the information. At the bottom of the article, you will find the citation information where you can select which style you would like to use.
