- Unlimited access to NYTimes.com except for the Crossword.
- If you are accessing remotely, you will need to create an account using an email address and password.
- Full access to New York Times articles published between 1851 through 1922, and between 1981 through current day while onsite at the library.
- Offsite Access allows for access to New York Times articles published between 1851 through 1922, and between 1981 through current day. Patrons will also have access to 5 premium archive articles, per day, during the years of 1923- 1980.
- Please ignore any subscription notices / emails that you may receive.
Getting Started
To get started, you will need to have the following:
- Your Library Card number and PIN
- If accessing NYTimes while not at the library or using the app, you will also need create an account with an email and password
If you are at the library, you can click on this link or go to NYTimes.com directly and enjoy the service.
If you are not at the library, you will need to click here and enter your Library Card number and PIN.
- A webpage will appear that will have a redemption code embedded, click Redeem.
- You will then be prompted to login or create an account with an email and password.
- Once you have logged in or registered, you will be presented with the confirmation page which will provide the expiration date as each pass allows you 72 hours of access.
- You cannot redeem another code until the current one expires.
- You will get a message after the 72 hours has expired and you will have to repeat the process again by clicking on this link, entering your Library card number and PIN, redeeming your code and logging into your NYTimes.com account.
Download the App
Download and install the NYTimes app for Apple’s iOS 14.5 or later or Android 6.0 and up.
In order to read on your phone or tablet, you must sign into NYTimes.com through the library’s website by clicking here and make an account with your email and a password. Once you have that account set up, you can go to the app and login using that information.
