Book Binding in Three Parts

Learn the Process for Book Binding in this 3 Part program. Help us bring new life to damaged and withdrawn library books by using parts of the books to make paper, a book cover, and to bind them together to make a journal. In part 1, on April 22, learn the process of turning old paper into new paper the traditional way. In part 2, on April 29, learn how to design and use the circuit to revamp an old book cover and make it your own! In part 3, on May 6, learn to bind your paper and book cover into a journal using the Coptic stitch method. All basic supplies are provided, we encourage you to bring items to personalize your journal.
