Does your child in grades 1-7 struggle with reading?

London Public Library’s READ Program (Reading Enjoyment and Development) has been helping struggling and reluctant readers since 1977.  More than 1500 children have benefitted from the free, one-on-one reading help provided by our volunteers.

Our program is unique.  It’s free, and each child meets with their own volunteer partner in a Library setting. This is not a one-size fits all or curriculum-based program. Each child is treated as an individual, and our goal is to find reading material that build on their interests and strengths. The Library is the perfect setting for a reading program. We have so many great books and our locations are easily accessible for both families and volunteers.
