The much-anticipated Annual Fall Book Sale is almost here! Hosted by Friends of the London Public Library, this exciting event will take place from October 18-20, 2024 at Centennial Hall. It’s the perfect opportunity to find fantastic deals on books and other media, all while supporting your Library. Every dollar raised goes towards enhancing Library services and programs.
What to Expect
Explore a wide selection of books, CDs, DVDs, vinyl, magazines, VHS tapes, and more! From adult fiction and non-fiction to children’s books and teen favourites, there’s something for everyone, no matter your age or interest.

Join us at Centennial Hall, 550 Wellington St., London on:
- Friday, October 18, 2024, 9 am - 9 pm
- Saturday, October 19, 2024, 9 am - 5 pm
- Sunday, October 20, 2024, 10 am - 4 pm
Don't miss the popular Fill a Bag Sale on Sunday! For just $5, you can fill a bag with as many items as it holds—we'll provide the bags.

There will also be a selection of specially priced items available on Friday and Saturday only.

The Friends Need Volunteers!
The Friends of the Library are calling out to the community to help make this event a success! Several volunteer positions are available to assist with setup, sales, and cleanup. This is also a great opportunity for high school students looking to complete volunteer hours.
Here’s how you can help:
- Setup Staff: Unload, unpack, and arrange materials.
- General Floor Staff: Keep tables stocked and organized.
- Information Desk Personnel: Sign in volunteers, verify student volunteer hours, and assist customers.
- Cashiers: Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions.
- Cashier Assistants: Support the cashiers.
- Clean-up Staff: Help pack unsold materials and take down tables.
