Simplifying Access to Digital Magazines and Book Holds

Checking out books online should be easy, but sometimes the process can be a bit challenging. Our online catalogue, Vega, is provided by a vendor who works with many Libraries across North America. We work closely with them to implement changes and updates, to make your borrowing experience as seamless and convenient as possible.

We’re introducing a few new features that we’re excited to share with you. Whether you’re borrowing digital magazines or placing holds on multiple books, these new features will help you get the most out of our Library's digital offerings.

Here’s a quick guide to navigating these enhancements and making the most of your next visit to our online catalogue.

Borrowing Digital Magazines

It just got easier to borrow digital magazines from OverDrive using our catalogue (Vega).  You can now search for a title, then select Get Issue and you will be able to select which issue you would like.

Placing Multiple Holds

You can now place holds on multiple books at the same time with a new selection feature.
